The NSTF-MCST Science Art Contest was launched in 2002. Its main objective is:
“to encourage young school children aged eight to ten years to express their idea of a selected Science theme in a creative manner through art.”
Participation:

Primary schools apply with NSTF during the month of October

School Children apply for participation to NSTF through their school during the month of December

School Children create an illustration on the chosen theme by using any form of artistic medium.

The best 50 artworks are exhibited during the NSTF Science Week
Prizes:

The best 20 artworks are exhibited at an Expo Science Europe/International or at the Belgian Science Expo

The first three placed artworks are presented with a book prize offered by NSTF

Certificates of participation are presented to all participants
This programme is held in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Scientists.
